Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a human service-related field

Documentation of at least two years of full-time, post-bachelor’s degree supervised experience in the profession of alcoholism and drug abuse counseling or related field and the techniques of casework, group work, or community organizations

Current license as a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist or Licensed Clinical Social Worker is highly recommended.

Understanding of substance abuse and chemical dependency as defined in the DSM-IV.

Understanding of addictions and knowledge of the impact of addiction on women and families.

Knowledge of 12-step programs and perinatal programs aimed at rural women and minorities.

Familiarity with the community and its resources. Individual must be familiar with other agencies and with what they offer.

Ability to correlate needs with possible solutions; ability to synthesize information effectively in order to communicate successfully both orally and in writing.

v Maintenance Technician II

Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent.

Certificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology or relevant field will be a plus. \

Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) is a plus.

Preferred minimum of 5 years of generalized experience with electrical, plumbing, carpentry, construction, painting, hand tool use, etc.
-
Proven experience as maintenance technician.
-
Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic and other systems.
-
Knowledge of general maintenance process and methods.
-
Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices
-
Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills.

Good physical condition and strength with a willingness to work overtime

Must have a valid North Carolina driver's license, with less than 3 points on driving record.
